OVERVIEW:
The Laboratory for Spectroscopic Imaging (LSI) is a research facility run by the Barbara Group in the Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at the University of Texas. LSI was established on December 1, 1998, when the Barbara group moved from the Department of Chemistry at the University of Minnesota.
Among the research topics are ultrafast spectroscopy of chemical reactions and molecular dynamics in liquids, near field scanning optical microscopy (NSOM) of organic thin films, and single molecule spectroscopy and imaging of conjugated Polymers and RNA/Protein interactions.
