수업중의 PDA 이용

The software allows one PDA, typically the professor's, to function as a Web server, so students can view Web pages created for the class on their PDAs over a wireless network. The students' PDAs don't require any special software, just the Web browser already built into them.

In addition, students can send text messages to the professors through the PDA and take simple multiple-choice quizzes, with the class' answers displayed as a graph on the professor's handheld. PocketClassroom also allows professors to control a PowerPoint presentation on a laptop and at the same time view the notes that go along with the slides on the handheld.

Pocketclassroom 이라는 소프트웨어 (지금은 LearnTrac 으로 이름이 바뀐 듯)를 수업중에 이용한다는 wired 2002년 기사이다.

교수님의 pda는 웹서버이고, 학생들은 자신의 pda를 사용하여 웹서버의 내용을 보고

실시간으로 질문을 할 수 있으며, 객관식 시험도 본다.
